I will start by saying that as much as someone can be, Amy is like a part of our family. She has sold 3 homes for us, helped us purchase 2 homes, and is a constant source of guidance and information. I have been in the insurance business for 20 years and understand what it means to care for your clients. Amy takes that idea to the next level. The sale and purchase of a home is such a huge deal for a family (we are a family of 5) and it is just hard to explain what it means to have someone that is not just an advocate, but someone who’s knowledge gives you comfort and her personality actually helps calm the chaos of moving. Amy has a profound knowledge of the market, incredible negotiating skills and a genuine concern for her clients. If you are considering purchasing or selling a home, you should immediately call her. I am not one to write a lot of reviews online, but this one is important. You won’t find a better realtor anywhere.

I was ready to begin looking for a home around February 2020. I contacted Amy Powell because I knew her and she had done an amazing job selling property for my boss, but she is also a friend. As a first time buyer I was terrified. So much uncertainty and doubt about "can I do this?" With just my income (and the cuteness of my French Bulldog, lol), I was terrified. I could NOT have asked for better guidance and support. I think Amy probably showed me at least 30 houses between March and June when I finally found "the one". I am 44 and a recovering alcoholic with 7 years sober at the time. Although I was with my job for over 5 years and financially could do it, mentally I was unsure. Amy was my rock. I do not know how many times I apologized for wasting her time looking at houses she knew weren't what I was looking for. She never said it, she just took me to see them. She always insisted it was a process and the more houses I would look at, the more confident I would become in what I was looking for. She met me at all hours any day of the week and NEVER complained.Then it was the day we found my home. Amy always told me I would walk in a house and know it was my home. She was getting paperwork together as we stood in the kitchen of the house to make an offer. She was in touch with the realtor who had the house listed as well as the seller. We made the offer and she did everything possible to get it accepted. Just before the owner was going to accept someone made a cash offer. I was crushed. But, I was the second option if the cash offer fell through.7 days later, and looking at 2 more houses that my heart just wasn't in, I received a call from Amy saying "do you still want it?"It was one of the happiest days of my life. Amy walked me through every step of the process up to the signing of the papers at closing. She beat me to the house and had already put a sign in the yard welcoming me home. I am tearing up as I am writing this review because the gratitude I have for Amy is overwhelming. My lil Aria (dog) and I have a real home now. I am a homeowner. I never believed I would be able to say those words. Never. Amy made my dream come true. I can never thank her enough. If anyone is looking for a realtor to buy OR sell a home, Amy Powell is your realtor. She was and is a blessing to me. I still walk in my home and cannot believe it is mine.
